Our Customer service specialist will have a licensed contractor contact you within 24 hours to schedule an appointment for service. If the licensed contractor informs us that he/she is unable to schedule your repair within the requested timeframe, the Real Home Warranty will contact another licensed contractor to ensure you are covered. (We work with several licensed contractors in each area of expertise to ensure your claim is taken care of in a timely and professional manner.) The licensed contractor will have your repair completed and/or *diagnosed within 48 hours of contacting Real Home Warranty.

The service fee is $65 and must be paid to the contractor upon arrival. Real Home Warranty will not reimburse work that has been completed outside the terms listed in the contract.

Each service request paid will apply to items of one trade only. For example, if multiple services are requested at the time, the home owner is responsible for paying a service fee for each provider necessary to complete the work. Additional fees may apply to properties outside of network boundaries or service requests outside of business hours. Under some circumstances, Real Home Warranty may request that the Contract Holder contact a contractor of your choice. In which case our customer service specialists will provide you with contractor and pre-authorization requirements.

It is the Contract Holder’s responsibility to select the trade type. The Contract Holder is responsible to pay an additional service fee to bring out the correct service provider if an error was made. The Contract Holder is also responsible for keeping the service area free and clear of debris to allow the contractor access to work. If the area is inaccessible the contractor must return at a later date then the Contract Holder will be responsible for an additional service fee.

*Real Home Warranty is not liable for additional time it might take for extenuating circumstances, i.e.: needed parts for broken item not readily available, scheduling conflict with consumer.
